(Technical Info) MOVIE FILES

Photo Jockey supports many graphic file formats. There are also a few movie formats that are supported. Below is a list of all the movie formats supported by Photo Jockey.

Movie File Formats For Viewing:

*.MPEG, *.MPG

*.ASF

*.AVI

*.WMV

*.MOV

The MPG and MPEG formats are older formats that were designed years ago and most movie players support them. They were designed to play on a variety of machines and DVD players.

The AVI format was designed by Microsoft to be played in the Windows operating system.

The MOV format was designed by Apple to be played in the Macintosh operating system.

The ASF and WMV were designed  by Microsoft to be played in the Windows operating system.

All of these formats usually have a player assigned to them on your system. More than likely, Windows Media Player will be the player for MPG, MPEG and AVI files. And QuickTime will be the player for the MOV files.

NOTE: If you can't play the MOV files, then download from the Internet the QuickTime player. You can find it on the apple.com web site.
